Emily and I met through the HER app about 6 months ago. After liking each other’s pictures she decided to message me first. I was nervous to talk to her because I hadn’t had any luck with other dating apps, but instantly there was a connection. The first night we talked for hours getting to know each other. After a couple weeks we planned to hang out in person but we were both extremely nervous so we decided to FaceTime instead. I was amazed at how comfortable I was talking to her and knew then that I had to meet her. However, because of our busy schedules, it took a month for us to finally meet in person. The wait was worth it though because as soon as I saw her I knew she was going to be mine.

A few days after we met I started to have some medical problems. From the moment I told Emily what was going on she has been by my side through it all by doing everything from comforting me when I feel lost and confused to coming to my doctors appointments with me. She has been there for me both physically and mentally when I need her most and has provided me with so much support.

In such a short time we’ve become so connected and I fall for her more and more each day. If it weren’t for the HER app, I wouldn’t be laying with her in my arms right now thinking about our future together.
