🌈 Happy LGBTQ+ History Month UK! 🌈 The Month of February is LGBTQ+ History Month in the United Kingdom and we wanted to share with you some dating tips we shared in a recent interview with Bella Books. (find the interview here) 

Dating Tips

#1. Make sure it’s only you in your profile picture. People are 43% more likely to swipe if there’s more than one person.

#2. Make sure you’re smiling and approachable – put out what you want to get back.

#3. Put different kinds of photos on your profile, not just 10 selfies showing varying expressions ;). e.g. one of you playing volleyball if that’s what you’re into.

#4. If you have a pet put them on! People are always looking for something to start a conversation with other than, ‘you’re fit I fancy you.’

#5. In the about you section try to avoid saying who you don’t want to approach you and focus on the type of person you do want to get in touch. Profiles with the word no are 35% more likely to be swiped.

#6. Put photos of you and your friends on there, nothing makes someone more approachable than seeing them laugh with other people. Profiles with groups of friends are 18% more likely to be liked.
